Precautions:

Always cook eggs before decorating. Adults should never allow children to cook or handle hot eggs, and en adult should supervise all decorating activities.

Although White Rabbit Dye is safe and non-toxic, it may temporarily color skin, counter tops, tablecloths and other surfaces. Keep food colors away from leather and other products susceptible to staining.

Dyeing Eggs

Banded Eggs
Wrap cooked eggs with 1-3 tightly fitted rubber bands and dye the eggs normally. The rubber bands will prevent the color form reaching the eggshell. For variations, start with a dyed egg and dye using a different color.

Rainbow Eggs
Wrap slightly damp paper towel around a cooked egg before placing a few drops of assorted colors on towel. Twist paper towel to achieve a rainbow effect

Marbled Eggs
Sprinkle a variety of colors on a flattened damp paper towel. Wrap towel around clean hard-boiled egg. soak towel with water and allow to set.


Special Effects
Texturize eggs by gluing on brightly colored sequins, scraps of material, buttons, lace or ribbons.
